The blazer. A style staple everyone should have in their closet. It’s clean lines and structured look gives anything you pair it with a more sophisticated and dressed up look.. You can put it on with almost anything. I paired it with dress pants and a blouse that you can wear for work or going out, but you could also pair it with some distressed jeans, a flare jean, skirt, dress or jumpsuit. I liked this white blazer because of the way it pops against the other colors. We’ve all heard about the no white after labor day rule, and no one can really pin point who made that rule, but it is said that an old custom prohibited the wear of white after labor day because the white clothes are worse for the protection against the cold weather in winter. September and October are hardly cold anyway. It’s more about fabric choice today than color. Even in the dead of winter in northern New England the fashionable wear white wools, cashmeres, jeans, and down-filled parkas. The true interpretation is “wear whats appropriate for the weather, the season or the occasion”. My blouse and blazer are from H&M, and my zipper pocket pants are from Asos. Thanks for reading!
